How to measure batteries with a multimeter:

1. First visually check the voltage of the dry battery, usually 1.5V (of course there are 6V or 9V, not common), which is generally marked on the battery case.

2. Disconnect the battery and measure the voltage of the battery. If the voltage of the battery is significantly lower than the nominal voltage, please charge it with the charger first;

3. Put the digital multimeter in the ohm 1K block, connect the black test lead to the positive electrode of the battery, and the red test lead to the negative electrode of the battery to form a series circuit to measure the internal resistance (internal resistance value) of the battery.

4. If the measured resistance value is larger, it means that the battery has a lot of power, and the smaller the resistance value means, the battery power is not much.
