How to operate the wood moisture tester correctly
A) Meter power supply: Make sure that the 9V battery has been installed. After pressing the ON button, the meter will hang in the air, and the LCD screen will display the moisture content of 00.0, the thickness and temperature (correction) and the ambient temperature. Automatically shut down after 120 seconds after power on. L is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen, please replace the battery. If the LCD screen does not display after pressing the ON key, please check the battery. There may be no battery installed or the battery is low.
B) Parameter adjustment: wood density (DST) & temperature (TMP) & thickness (THK) (correction (ADJ)) adjustment The wood moisture tester is equipped with density, thickness and temperature (adjustment) keys, press and hold the TDS+(─) key Once every 0.1 seconds, the density will increase (decrease) 0.05. Press and hold the TDS+(─) key and the density will continue to increase (decrease) until the upper limit (lower limit) of the density. Press and hold the TMP button for 0.1 seconds, the temperature will increase by 5°C, and it will automatically return to zero after adding to the upper limit. Press and hold the TMP button and the temperature will continuously increase from 0°C to 70°C and automatically cycle until the button is released. The temperature is adjusted according to the temperature of the wood; press and hold the THK key for 0.1 seconds once, the thickness will increase by 5mm, and it will automatically return to zero after adding to the upper limit. Press and hold the TMP key and the temperature will continuously increase from 10 mm to 60 mm. Automatic cycle until the key is released . The thickness is adjusted according to the thickness of the wood and its own needs.
C) Moisture measurement: KT-60 moisture meter is required to be used on flat wood. Put the meter on a flat plate, press and hold the meter to move slowly in any direction on the surface of the wood, the real moisture of the wood will be displayed on the LCD screen immediately.
