How to use a digital clamp meter
The use of digital clamp meters and pointer clamp meters is basically the same, the main difference is the reading method. Before using the digital clamp meter, install a suitable battery in it. A clamp meter without a battery cannot work, neither can it measure current, nor can it measure voltage and resistance. How to use the digital clamp meter is as follows.
①Estimate the magnitude of the measured current and select the appropriate gear. The selection principle is the same as that of the pointer clamp meter.
② Clamp a wire into the measurement.
③ Directly read the current size from the display. When reading, pay attention to the decimal point of the display value, the unit of the value is the same as
The unit of the selected current block should be the same. If the "~400A" block is selected and the value displayed on the display is 036.8, the measured current should be 368A. When reading, if the value on the display changes, select the middle value to read after the change is stable. If you use a digital clamp meter to measure voltage and resistance, you need to install test leads on it, and use the test leads to contact the circuit and components under test for measurement. The precautions for using a digital needle meter are basically the same as those for an analog clamp meter, and will not be described here.
