How to use a multimeter to test whether the circuit is connected?
1. Voltage test method. Turn the multimeter to the DC voltage range, select the appropriate range, connect the red test lead to the positive electrode of the battery, and connect the black test lead to the negative electrode of the battery, and test the individual batteries in the battery pack one by one. Replenish the electrolyte for repair.
2. Current measurement method. Improper operation of this test method can easily burn the battery and the meter, so it is generally not recommended for beginners. First find a piece of resistance wire, such as the resistance wire in the chassis of a discarded water boiler, measure it with an ohm stop, cut a piece of resistance wire of about 20 ohms, connect it in series with any test pen of the electric meter, and turn the multimeter to a higher current. A single battery is connected to the high gear. If the ammeter is not very sensitive, the meter can be adjusted to the low gear. Test one by one, the battery with too small current needs to be repaired.
Remember, you can't directly measure the battery current with the ampere (current) gear without the series resistance.
