How to use and precautions for digital differential pressure gauge

Digital differential pressure gauges are widely used to measure fan and blower pressure, filter resistance, wind speed, furnace pressure, orifice differential pressure, bubble water level, liquid amplifier or hydraulic system pressure, etc. It is also used for air-gas ratio in the combustion process control and automatic valve control, and blood pressure and respiratory pressure monitoring in healthcare equipment. Today, the editor will take you to understand the use and precautions of the digital differential pressure gauge.

How to use the digital differential pressure gauge:

a. Place the instrument horizontally on a test platform with less dust and less vibration.

b. It should be turned on and preheated for more than 30 minutes before use.

c. Set the zero point-measurement selection of the digital differential pressure gauge: switch to the zero point position, and turn the zero point adjustment button until the display shows zero.

d. The zero point of the digital differential pressure gauge cannot be easily adjusted after the unit of measurement is verified.

e. The pressure connection must ensure that the pressure to be measured is lower than the allowable limit value.

f. Select and press the appropriate range according to the measured pressure range.

g. Set the zero-measurement selection switch to the measurement position and start measurement. If it exceeds the range and the display flashes, the range should be increased.

Precautions for digital differential pressure gauge:

a. Correctly select the digital differential pressure gauge. When selecting the measuring range of the pressure gauge, the measured pressure must not exceed the allowable overload capacity of the measuring range, otherwise the zero point and sensitivity will be affected.

b. Keep in mind that solid particles or other hard objects enter the pressure induction tube to avoid damage to the sensor.

c. Pressurization should be slow, excessive impact will cause fatigue failure of pressure sensor components,

d. Do not exceed the operating temperature range, otherwise the accuracy will decrease.

e. The pressure medium must be compatible with the material of the pressure sensor, otherwise: the sensor will be damaged.

f. Digital pressure gauges that are not frequently used should be powered once a month to keep them in good condition at any time.
