How to use Leica microscope

(1) After installing the microscope, make sure that the power supply voltage is consistent with the rated voltage of the stereo microscope before plugging in the power plug, turning on the power switch, and selecting the lighting method;

(2) Select the platen according to the observed specimen (when observing transparent specimens, choose frosted glass platen; for opaque specimens, choose black and white platen), install it into the hole of the base platen, and lock it tightly;

(3) Loosen the tightening screw on the focusing slide, and adjust the height of the mirror body to make it roughly the same working distance as the magnification of the selected objective lens. After adjusting, lock the bracket, put the safety ring against the focusing bracket and lock it;

(4) After installing the eyepiece, first loosen the screw on the eyepiece tube, and then tighten the screw after the eyepiece is installed (when the eyepiece is placed in the eyepiece tube of the stereo microscope, be careful not to touch the surface of the lens lens);

(5) Adjust the interpupillary distance. When the user observes the field of view through the two eyepieces and the field of view is not a circular one, they should move the two prism boxes to change the distance between the exit pupils of the eyepiece tube so that they can observe one eyepiece. Completely coincident circular field of view (indicating that the interpupillary distance has been adjusted);

(6) Observe the specimen (focus on the specimen). First, adjust the diopter circle on the left eyepiece tube to the 0 scale line position. Usually, first observe from the right eyepiece tube (that is, the fixed eyepiece tube), turn the zoom tube (when there is a zoom device model) to the highest magnification position, and turn the focusing handwheel to focus the specimen until the specimen is After the image is clear, turn the zoom tube to the lowest magnification position. At this time, observe with the left eyepiece tube. If it is not clear, adjust the diopter circle on the eyepiece tube along the axis until the image of the specimen is clear, and then double-click. Visually observe its focusing effect;

(7) When the observation is over, turn off the power, remove the specimen, and cover the microscope tightly with a dust cover.
