How to use the four lower jacks of the digital multimeter

1. DC voltage measurement.
Insert the black pen into the COM jack and the red pen into the V/Ω jack.

2, AC voltage measurement.
Insert the black pen into the COM jack and the red pen into the V/Ω jack.

3, DC current measurement.
Insert the black meter pen into COM jack, when measuring the maximum value of 200mA current, the red meter pen inserted into mA jack, when measuring the maximum value of 20A current, the red meter pen inserted into 20A jack.

4, resistance measurement.
Insert the pen into the "COM" and "VΩ" hole, the knob to "Ω" in the required range, with the pen connected to the metal parts of the two ends of the resistor.

Digital multimeter is relatively simple measuring instrument. In this article, the author will teach you the correct use of digital multimeter. Starting from the digital multimeter voltage, resistance, current, diode, transistor, MOS field effect tube measurement and other measurement methods, so that you can better master the multimeter measurement method.

Before using, you should read the relevant instruction manual carefully and familiarise yourself with the role of the power switch, range switch, jacks and special sockets.

1, will ON / OFF switch to ON position, check the 9V battery, if the battery voltage is insufficient, it will be shown on the display, then the battery needs to be replaced. If the display does not show, then follow the steps below.

2, The symbol next to the test pen jack indicates that the input voltage or current should not exceed the indicated value, this is to protect the internal wiring from damage.

3, Before testing. The function switch should be placed in the range you need.
