How to Use the LCD Digital Display Induction Test Pen How to Use the LCD Digital Display
First of all, let's talk about using an induction pen to measure the live and neutral wires. If it lights up directly on the outer skin during testing, it means fire, and the same goes for short circuits. When measuring along the wire, it is necessary to be close to the wire. However, induction pens are rarely used nowadays because environmental factors have a significant impact, and the results obtained are not very accurate!
① This type of measuring pen can not only measure AC 220V, but also 110V, and even as low as 12V, it can measure DC electricity. Please refer to the instruction manual for specific usage instructions, which will not be described here.
② The sensing distance is not very far, so I usually test it by sticking it to the insulation of the wire. The live and neutral wires twisted together must be separated, otherwise the measurement will be inaccurate. I think as long as it can be measured by sticking it to the outer skin, it's not necessary if it's too far away.
③ If we can separate each wire and know which wire is broken, it's not the kind of wire handle. It's still very convenient to use an electric pen to locate the break point by sticking it to the outer skin of the wire.
④ If it is a wire, it must be dispersed in order to measure the charged wire without stripping the outer layer.
The use of induction testing pens, like digital multimeters, requires continuous exploration and summarization of experience in practice in order to master effective testing methods that can be used by me.
