How to use the level meter and precautions for measurement
A spirit level is a common measuring tool for measuring small angles. In the machinery industry and instrument manufacturing, it is used to measure the inclination angle relative to the horizontal position, the flatness and straightness of the guide rail of machine tool equipment, the horizontal position and vertical position of equipment installation, etc. The following is a detailed introduction to the use of the level meter and the precautions for measurement:
Instructions
When measuring, make the working surface of the spirit level close to the surface to be measured, and take a reading after the bubbles are completely still.
The division value of the spirit level is the inclination value based on one meter. If it is necessary to measure the actual inclination with a length of L, it can be calculated by the following formula:
Actual inclination value = graduation value * L * deviation grid number
In order to avoid the measurement error caused by the inaccurate zero position of the level meter, the zero position of the level meter must be calibrated or adjusted before use.
Level meter zero calibration, adjustment method:
Put the spirit level on a flat plate (or machine tool guide rail) with a solid foundation, and after the bubble is stable, take a reading at one end such as the left end, and set it to zero. Then turn the level meter 180 degrees, and still put it on the original position of the plate. After the bubble is stabilized, still read the A grid at the original end (left end), and the zero position error of the level meter is 1/2 of the A grid.
If the zero error exceeds the allowable range, the level meter zero adjustment mechanism (adjustment screw or nut) needs to be adjusted to reduce the zero error to within the allowable value. For non-regulated adjustment screws, the nut must not be twisted arbitrarily. Before adjustment, the level meter works The surface and the plate must be wiped clean. After adjustment, the screws or nuts must be tightened)
Measurement Notes
1. Before using the level meter, use non-corrosive gasoline to clean the anti-rust oil on the working surface, and wipe it with absorbent cotton gauze before use.
2. When measuring, the bubble must be completely still before reading.
3. Temperature changes will cause errors in measurement, so it must be isolated from heat and wind sources when used. If the operating environment temperature is different from the storage environment temperature, the level must be stabilized on the plate for 2 hours in the operating environment before use.
4. Under the premise of correct use and storage of the level meter, the factory is responsible for free repairs, returns and replacements within half a year of the date of manufacture due to manufacturing defects and failures, but the products that enter and exit the requirements must have a complete structure and no damage to the appearance. .
5. After the level is used, the working surface must be wiped clean, and coated with anhydrous, acid-free anti-rust oil, covered with moisture-proof paper, put in a box and stored in a clean and dry place.
