How to use the rangefinder and the range of use
1. Open the battery compartment of the rangefinder and load the batteries correctly according to the polarity;
2. Press the red key MEAS to turn on the instrument and the laser (be careful not to point it at your eyes), aim and then press it again, the measurement results are displayed on the LCD screen;
3. CLR key: short press after a set of data; long press 2 seconds to close the instrument;
4.Unit key: short press to turn on/off the screen backlight; long press for 3 seconds to switch the measurement unit (m,in,ft,ft+in);
5.MAX/MIN key: Long press this key until the beep, the display enters the continuous measurement mode, the laser will be swept in a large area around the measurement target (such as corners), the instrument will record the maximum and minimum values, after 100 consecutive measurements will automatically exit this mode, press the MEAS or CLR key to stop the continuous measurements.
6. + key: the next measured value will be added with the previous value;
7. - key: the next measured value will be subtracted from the previous value;
8. Area/volume key:
① Press once to enter the area measurement mode, at this time, press MEAS key to carry out the first distance measurement (such as length); then press MEAS key to carry out the second distance measurement (such as width); the calculation result of the area is displayed in the main display line, and the length and width values are displayed in the auxiliary display line;
② Press twice to enter the volume measurement mode, press the MEAS key for length, width and height measurement respectively, and the final volume is shown in the main display;
9. Reference side switching key: It can realize the switching of the instrument from the top or bottom as the starting point of measurement;
10. Indirect Measurement Key: When this key is pressed, the measurement of the hypotenuse and right-angle edge will be carried out sequentially according to the prompts, and the *final return to the length of the other straight line of the right-angle triangle;
11. Storage key: press this key to access the recorded data, +- key can be flipped up and down; in this mode at the same time press the storage key and CLR key to clear all records.
This rangefinder can be widely used in home/industry/commercial decoration, installation of horizontal and design and other fields. Specifically, it can be used for floor tiling; wall coating area estimation; furniture and cabinet making measurement; construction site distance/area/volume measurement; real estate agent apartment area measurement and valuation quotation, etc.
