If you want the wind direction and anemometer to measure accurately, these three points need to be taken seriously

Wind speed and direction are the main data in natural climate monitoring, and they change every day. In agriculture, people often use them to avoid damage to crops caused by strong winds. Therefore, people's measurement of wind direction and speed has become particularly important, and traditional manual observation has long been replaced by professional instruments such as wind anemometers.

The wind direction anemometer consists of two parts. Firstly, the wind direction part is composed of a wind vane, a wind direction dial, etc. The wind direction indication is determined by the position of the wind direction pointer on the wind direction dial; Secondly, the wind speed section adopts a traditional three cup rotating frame structure. The microcontroller inside the instrument samples and calculates the output frequency of the wind speed sensor. Finally, the instrument outputs instantaneous wind speed, one minute average wind speed, instantaneous wind level, one minute average wind level, average wind speed, and corresponding wave height. The measured parameters can be directly displayed on the handheld device. It also has three operating modes: automatic, manual, and computer lock, which users can set according to their needs, making it very convenient to use. But for every precision measuring instrument, it is necessary to strictly follow the usage specifications during use, and the wind direction and anemometer are no exception. The following three points should be noted:

① The instrument should be strictly protected from collision and vibration, and should not be used in places with excessive dust content or corrosiveness.

② The instrument is equipped with four batteries, divided into two groups. One group is connected in series with three batteries, and the other group is a single battery. When adjusting the "full scale adjustment" knob, if the meter cannot reach full scale, it indicates that a single battery has been depleted; When adjusting the "coarse adjustment" and "fine adjustment" buttons, if the meter pointer cannot return to zero, it indicates that the three batteries have been depleted; When replacing the battery, open the small door at the bottom of the instrument and connect it in the correct direction.

③ After the instrument is repaired, it must be recalibrated.

Simply put, in order to obtain accurate measurement data of wind direction and anemometer, we must operate in a standardized manner and pay more attention to some details.
