Tunnel kiln traditional temperature measurement method has two kinds: one is to use thermocouple temperature measurement, this method is characterized by high temperature accuracy, can connect the recorder or control system for closed-loop control, the disadvantage is the short life, especially in the high temperature kiln above 1300 ℃ its electric coupling consumption is very large, the price is also very expensive, the equipment running cost is high; ** kind of method is optical pyrometer, the method is based on the measured object luminous colour To measure the temperature, because it is not in direct contact with the high temperature area, so the service life is long, but the measurement accuracy is low, no electrical signal output, can not be automatically recorded, and human factors, the authenticity of the poor. Application of HD series infrared thermometer can effectively overcome the above shortcomings. The instrument has a high measurement accuracy (up to ± 0.5%), and can be like a thermocouple as the output of electrical signals, automatic recording and control, but also has a long service life (more than five years), easy to operate, human error and other advantages. Therefore, HD series infrared thermometer is an ideal temperature measurement instrument for high-temperature tunnel kiln.HD series infrared thermometer in the tunnel kiln application, according to the different requirements of the user, commonly used single-point temperature measurement and multi-point switching temperature measurement of the two programmes. They are introduced as follows:


Single-point temperature measurement system: each temperature measurement point using a probe and an instrumentation box, temperature measurement unit for temperature collection. The temperature measurement unit for temperature acquisition, and then the unit instrumentation box output 4 ~ 20MA analogue signal connected to the multi-point recorder or control actuators, but also through the RS-232 port and computer, printer and other equipment for data communication. The temperature measurement unit in this system is usually selected with high precision and strong function of HDIR-2A type instrument.


Switching temperature measurement system: the system is installed in the temperature measurement point of the infrared probe signal is connected to a HDMU-2 type multi-point thermometer for signal processing. And respectively, the output and the temperature measurement point corresponding to the 1 ~ 5V temperature signal for multi-point recorder records, but also directly through the RS232 port temperature data into the computer, the computer analysis and processing, but also can be connected to the printer directly to print out the temperature data.


The above two programmes are, single-point temperature measurement system due to each temperature measurement point has an independent temperature measurement and signal processing system, its output modal and digital signals are real-time continuous signals, fast response speed, can be used as a control actuator real-time control signals, in order to achieve closed-loop control. Multi-point switching temperature measurement system, the output of the analogue signal, although also continuous, but there is a certain lag with the real-time temperature value, it can only be used as a data acquisition record, but not suitable as a control signal, the advantage of its cost-effective, in the use of less demanding occasions can reduce equipment costs.


In other refractory kilns, such as inverted flame kilns and prismatic kilns and other occasions due to the use of temperature measurement points less, so the use of single-point temperature measurement programme more.
