Introduction of measurement method of infrared thermometer
Infrared thermometer, commonly known as temperature gun, senses the surface temperature of an object through the principle of infrared transmission of numbers, and is suitable for measuring high-temperature objects. In the power plant, it is convenient for operators to measure the temperature of equipment anytime and anywhere and check whether the equipment works normally.
Infrared thermometer consists of optical system, photoelectric detector, signal amplifier, signal processing, display output and other parts. The optical system concentrates the infrared radiation energy of the target in its field of view, and the size of the field of view is determined by the optical parts and their positions of the thermometer. Infrared energy is focused on the photodetector and converted into corresponding electrical signals. The signal passes through the amplifier and signal processing circuit, and is corrected according to the algorithm of instrument internal treatment and target emissivity, and then converted into the temperature value of the measured target.
Measurement method:
The thermometer is a portable thermometer, and its use method is relatively simple. The emissivity, degree-day and the switch between * large and * small values are SET by two keys "SEL" and "SET". Its measurement method mainly includes the following steps:
1. Select℃ or ℉ unit and emissivity as required.
2. After aiming the infrared ray of the thermometer at the object to be measured, press the measuring key to start the measurement, release the measuring key to keep the data, and repeat the measurement several times.
3. Press the "SEL" key to read the maximum, minimum, average and maximum difference of the temperature of the measured object.
Advantages of infrared thermometer
Non-contact temperature measurement by receiving infrared radiation from the measured object has many advantages. In this way, those objects that are difficult to touch or move can be measured without problems, such as materials with poor heat transfer performance or small heat capacity. The short response time of infrared thermometer can quickly realize the adjustment loop. The thermometer has no parts that will wear, so there is no continuous cost like using a thermometer. Especially in a very small object to be measured, if it is measured by contact, there will be a great measurement error due to the thermal conductivity of the object. There is no doubt that thermometers can be used here, as well as corrosive chemicals or surfaces, such as paint, paper and plastic rails. Through remote remote control measurement, it can be far away from the dangerous area, so that the operator is not dangerous.
