Introduction of Three New Types of AC Stabilized Power Supply
With the development of power supply technology, the following three new types of AC regulated power supplies appeared in the 1980s.
①Compensated AC voltage stabilizer: also known as a partially adjusted voltage stabilizer. Use the additional voltage of the compensation transformer to be connected in series between the power supply and the load, and use intermittent AC switches (contactors or thyristors) or continuous servo motors to change the magnitude or pole of the additional voltage as the input voltage increases. Sex, subtract (or add) the higher part (or insufficient part) of the input voltage, so as to achieve the purpose of voltage regulation. The capacity of the compensation transformer is only about 1/7 of the output power, which has the advantages of simple structure and low cost, but the stability is not high.
② Numerically controlled AC voltage stabilizer and stepping voltage stabilizer: the control circuit is composed of logic elements or microprocessors, and the number of primary turns of the transformer is converted according to the input voltage level to stabilize the output voltage.
③Purifying AC voltage stabilizer: Due to its good isolation effect, it can eliminate the peak interference from the power grid and be applied.
