Introduction to market applications of gas detectors
1. Gas detectors are also required for leak detection of combustible gases and monitoring of environmental gases such as hydrogen and oxygen in petroleum and petrochemical production. It is estimated that an average of about 40 sets of gas detection instruments are required for every 10000 tons of refined oil production, including 20 sets of combustible gas. Based on the current annual production of 220 million tons of refined oil, the annual demand for gas detection instruments is about 880000 sets, including about 440000 sets of combustible gas detection instruments, about 220000 sets of toxic gas detection instruments, and 220000 sets of other organic vapor and gas analysis equipment. And various types of oil and gas stations also have a high demand for gas detectors for detecting toxic gases such as combustible gases, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and organic vapors such as benzene, aldehydes, and ketones. They are mainly used for safety protection, preventing poisoning and explosion accidents. On average, each oil and gas station requires about 7.2 sets of gas detection instruments.
2. The extensive development of natural gas fields and pipeline construction in the gas industry will greatly increase the demand for natural gas detection equipment, and high-performance infrared gas detection instruments will have a rare opportunity for development. In the process of gas extraction, processing, transportation, and use, the demand for combustible gas detection instruments will reach hundreds of thousands of units.
3. In the industrial route of chemical industry, whether it is coking industry, coal gasification synthetic ammonia, coal based methanol, coal to synthetic oil, or coal chemical co production, there is a wide demand for gas detection products, especially for gas sensors such as sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, chlorine gas, ammonia gas, etc.
4. The coal industry, which is one of the key energy industries supporting the rapid development of China's economy, has a larger number of various gas sensor equipment. China is a major coal mine safety equipment country and also one of the important coal mine safety instrument production countries. At present, there are millions of various gas sensor equipment in key coal mines in China, but safety issues remain severe, with unprecedented casualties and property losses. Therefore, the country has increasingly attached importance to coal mine safety requirements. Gas detection equipment not only improves the level of coal mine gas detection, but also drives the upgrading of the gas detection industry.
