Introduction to the difference between oxygen detector and analyzer

1, The accuracy of data varies:
Oxygen gas detectors typically only provide qualitative analysis results for specified gases. The oxygen analyzer has higher accuracy and can provide quantitative data.

2, Different product structures:
Oxygen gas detectors are generally composed of gas detectors and signal conversion circuits, while oxygen analyzers, in addition to gas analysis modules and signal conversion circuits, also have gas path analysis systems, temperature control systems, pressure control systems, and so on.

3, Different detection methods:
The detection method of oxygen gas detector is often diffusion type, which can only be detected in the environment. And the oxygen analyzer analyzes the collected gas by lifting it out of the sampling tube and sucking it into the interior for testing.

4, The purpose of measurement varies
The detection purpose of oxygen gas detector is mainly for safety protection, and different gas detectors are set up according to the known gas composition in the detection environment to achieve the preventive detection effect. The detection purpose of oxygen analyzer is mainly to measure the gas content in pipelines/containers, mainly used for production process control.

5, The operation methods for completing the entire measurement process are different
When using an oxygen gas detector, simply place the gas detector in the tested environment to display the value and complete the detection.

The oxygen analyzer must introduce gas into the instrument and strictly adjust the process technical conditions, such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc. Only when the operator adjusts the instrument until a stable chemical process is achieved, can accurate measurement data be obtained.
