Introduction to the two main types of gas detection instruments

There are many types of gas detection instruments, and many people cannot distinguish which ones are specific, nor do they know which type of gas detection instrument to use for what purpose. In fact, although there are many types of gas detection instruments, they are mainly divided into the following two types. The specific choice of which one is better depends on the specific usage purpose.

One type is a gas detector. Taking Delger as an example, Delger single gas detectors include Delger PAC6000 gas detector, Delger PAC6500 gas detector, Delger 8000 gas detector, and Delger X-AM5100 gas detector. Delger 2-in-1 gas detector includes Delger PAC8500 gas detector. This portable gas detector can be equipped with two gas sensors, making it a 2-in-1 gas detector.

The Delger composite gas detector includes the Delger X-AM5000 gas detector, Delger X-AM5600 gas detector, and Delger X-AM8000 gas detector, which can simultaneously detect the concentrations of 4-7 different gases. Therefore, it is a composite gas detector. The Delger four in one gas detector includes the Delger X-AM2500 gas detector, which can simultaneously detect the concentrations of four gases, such as oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and flammable gases. It can also be equipped with other four types of gases.

There is also a Delger compressed air detector in the Delger gas detector, which can detect the concentration of potential pollutants in compressed air in various environments. It can detect the quality of compressed air in compressors, instrument air ducts, or compressed gas cylinders. Of course, different compressed air pressure ranges require the use of different models. Through this compressed air detector, reliable detection of air can be carried out to meet the relevant classification standards of EN12021.

Another type is gas detection tubes, taking Delger as an example. Delger gas detection tubes are glass tubes filled with chemical reagents and can detect hundreds of gases. The chemical reagents in the detection tube react with specific chemical substances, and a quantitative standard gas sample is extracted into the detection tube using a Delger Accuro air pump. Then a chemical reaction occurs, causing the reagent in the detection tube to change color, and the length of the color change indicates the concentration of the substance. The Delger gas detection tube series has over 300 combinations and can detect more than 500 gases.
