Maintenance and repair of four-in-one gas detectors, what are the common problems
As is well known, the four in one gas detector is a composite detector that can detect multiple gases and display the numerical index of four gases or one gas simultaneously. When a certain gas indicator to be detected is within the alarm range, the instrument will automatically perform a series of alarm actions, flashing lights, vibration, and sound. However, during the use of the four in one gas detector, many friends have encountered situations where the instrument cannot display the ambient gas concentration and cannot be turned on after starting. This is mainly due to problems with the four in one gas detector during startup. What are the common problems when starting up a four in one gas detector?
1. Can't the four in one gas detector display the ambient gas concentration normally after starting?
The four in one gas detector needs calibration, but the sensor has not stabilized. Wait for 60 seconds to perform zero and range calibration on the four in one gas detector. If the start-up fails, it should be a common fault that can generally be resolved by checking the manual. If it still cannot be started, please contact the manufacturer.
2. The four in one gas detector cannot be turned on?
The reason is due to battery issues. The battery power has been depleted and the four in one gas detector is damaged or malfunctioning. It is necessary to charge and test the four in one gas detector. The four in one gas detector immediately enters an alarm state when turned on, and the sensor should be stabilized to trigger a low battery alarm. High sensitivity sensors or biased sensors need to wait for 60 seconds to display the measured gas concentration data normally.
In addition, when using a four in one gas detector in different situations, make sure that the power switch of the four in one gas detector (explosion-proof area) is turned to "OFF", then install the battery and turn the sensitivity adjustment knob counterclockwise to the end. Place the instrument in a non flammable gas environment, turn the power switch to "ON", and the power indicator light will turn on. When the indicator light is straight on (indicating that the battery is fully charged), the instrument can detect normally.
Regular cleaning and maintenance of the four in one gas detector is an important task to prevent malfunctions. Grounding should be checked regularly. If the grounding does not meet the standard or is not grounded at all, it can also cause electromagnetic interference and malfunction of the four in one gas detector. Prevent malfunctions caused by component aging.
