Maintenance Tips for Digital Clamp Meters
Periodically clean the case with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
Dirty or wet terminals may affect readings. To clean the terminals:
1) Turn off the power of the meter and remove the test leads.
2) Shake off the dust that may exist in the terminal.
3) Take a new cotton swab and dip it in alcohol to clean the inside of each input terminal.
