Management Code Provisions for Industrial Combustible Gas Detectors
Purpose of the Management Regulations for Industrial Combustible Gas Detectors: In order to standardize the combustible gas detection work in the production and maintenance process of the company and ensure operational safety, this regulation is formulated. Its main scope of application: applicable to flammable and explosive places throughout the company, detecting gas content in confined spaces.
1, Industrial combustible gas detection instruments:
1. The manufacturers of fixed (or mobile) detection devices and instruments have corresponding qualifications (including production licenses for measuring instruments, explosion-proof equipment, etc.).
2. The device (instrument) has high sensitivity and is less affected by temperature, humidity, and other gas interference.
3. Qualified through inspection by national or local quality and technical supervision departments.
4. Before use, check whether the instrument is functioning properly according to the instructions or relevant technical data. Only after confirming that it is in normal working condition can the testing work begin.
5. After the testing is completed, double check the correctness of the instrument to prove that it was in a normal state throughout the entire testing process.
2, Testing personnel:
Firstly, the testing personnel must undergo professional training and obtain the corresponding qualifications. Secondly, a dual person work system is implemented during testing, with one person conducting testing and the other person supervising. When conducting the testing operation again, the testing personnel should bring a spark and wear labor protection equipment.
3, The detection program:
1. Close relevant pipelines and valves in confined spaces and flammable and explosive areas, maintain natural ventilation. If the effect is not good, perform mechanical ventilation and maintain it for more than 2 hours.
2. After implementing the provisions of Article 5.1, the person in charge of the homework site shall apply to the safety production management personnel, and the production department shall arrange personnel to conduct inspections.
3. After receiving the task, the testing personnel should understand and master the hazardous characteristics of the gas, as well as the structure of the equipment and facilities being tested. They are not allowed to enter without understanding the situation.
4. Confirm the detection points, requiring a total of three points to be taken: top, middle, bottom, or front, middle, and back. The maximum value of each point's reading is recorded for that point.
4, Issuance of the testing report
1. After each inspection is completed, the inspectors need to issue an inspection report. Accurately fill in the detection data.
2. The testing report must have the signature of the testing personnel, otherwise it is invalid.
