Mastering Key Points and Reasonably Using a Composite Multi gas Detector
The use of composite multi gas detectors is very extensive, and they can be used for safety inspections and testing in production workshops, warehouses, pipeline construction, tunnel and underground mine construction, and many customers have also purchased composite multi gas detectors.
Usage method of composite multi gas detector:
1. Turn on the instrument
When the device is turned off and the battery is fully charged, press the "1" button for approximately 2 seconds to shut down the instrument while in measurement mode.
2. Low battery
When the battery level of the instrument drops below the preset value, an acoustic undervoltage alarm will be triggered, prompting the operator to charge if the battery level is low. When there is an undervoltage alarm, the battery symbol flashes together with the sound alarm. When the battery is depleted, the instrument will automatically shut down.
When an undervoltage alarm occurs, the operator should shut down the instrument and charge it for approximately 3-4 hours.
Perform preheating self check for composite multi gas detector:
After pressing the "1" button to turn on the device, there will be a self check process for the instrument's own battery level, sensors, and sound, light, and vibration alarm function. It will enter a 100 second countdown to preheating, and after preheating, it will directly enter the measurement status interface.
Note: If the self check fails, it should be repeated. If it fails again, please contact us or your local agent/service provider.
Measurement mode of composite multi gas detector:
The free diffusion detection method is adopted, and during normal operation, the instrument can be fixed on the belt or handheld for use. Once turned on, the instrument will continuously measure, and the surrounding air can enter the sensor through diffusion. Usually, the flow of air can directly send the measured target gas into the sensor, and the sensor will react to the concentration of the gas and provide measurement results. The principle of diffusion detection is to directly detect the gas concentration around the instrument using the above methods. The advantage of diffusion detection is that the response time is fast. If remote detection of the gas at the sampling location is required, it is necessary to use the suction method for measurement. At this time, the instrument needs to use a calibration cover and an optional air pump. When using the calibration cover, it should be ensured that the direction of gas collection follows the direction indicated by the arrow.
