Measuring Principle of MiniTest 600 Coating Thickness Gauge
MiniTest 600 coating thickness gauge measurement principle, MiniTest 600 coating thickness gauge is easy to operate, small and practical. It is used for non-destructive, rapid and accurate measurement of coating and plating thickness. Especially suitable for anti-corrosion industry and building profiles, anti-corrosion coating measurement in manufacturing industry. Comply with DIN, ISO, BS, ASTM standards.
Measuring principle of MiniTest 600 coating thickness gauge:
The F-type measuring head is designed according to the principle of magnetic induction, and mainly measures the non-magnetic coating on the steel substrate. For example: aluminum, chrome, copper, zinc, paint, rubber, etc. Also suitable for alloy and hard steel.
The N-type probe is designed according to the principle of eddy current, and mainly measures coatings on non-ferromagnetic metals and austenitic stainless steel. For example: coatings on aluminum, copper, zinc castings, anodic oxide films, ceramics, etc.
The FN-type probe is designed using the principle of magnetic induction and eddy current at the same time. One probe can complete the measurement that the F-type and N-type probes can complete.
