3. Place the mount to be observed on the carrier table so that the part to be observed is located in the centre of the light-through hole.


4. Observe first with low magnification (objective lens 10×, eyepiece 10×). Before observation, turn the coarse focusing screw to raise the stage so that the objective lens gradually approaches the section. Care should be taken so that the objective lens does not touch the slide to prevent the lens from crushing the slide. Turn the coarse focusing screw to slowly lower the stage, and you will soon see a magnified image of the material on the slide.


5. If the object image seen in the field of view does not meet the requirements of the experiment (the object image deviates from the field of view), you can slowly move the left and right moving ruler. When moving the slide should be noted that the direction of movement and the field of view to see the image of the object moving in the opposite direction. If the object image is not very clear, you can adjust the fine focusing spiral, until the object image is clear.


6. If you further use the high-magnification objective observation, should be converted before the high-magnification objective, the object image needs to be enlarged to observe the part of the field of view to the centre (will be converted from low-magnification objective to high-magnification objective observation, the field of view of the object in the scope of the narrowing of a lot). 7. 8. Observation is completed, the objective lens should be removed from the light hole, and then the microscope recovery.
