Microscope Fault Analysis and Repair
The verification method is to place the standard ruler on the worktable of the hardness tester (or microscope), adjust the focal length first during inspection, so that the ruler's ruler can be clearly seen in the field of view of the eyepiece or projection screen, and adjust it to coincide with the ruler's ruler in the eyepiece. Then compare the ruler's ruler's ruler with the ruler's ruler's ruler, and measure at least 5 intervals in the entire measurement range. Compare each interval 3 times, take the average of the 3 comparison results, and calculate the relative error W according to the following formula:
W=(Li-L)/L×100%
In the formula: W - relative error (mm); Li - the length measured by the comparative section of the reading microscope (mm), (i=1-5); L - The actual length of the comparison section of the standard marking ruler (mm).
The scale of the reading microscope should be compared segment by segment according to the above method, and the error should not exceed ± 0.5%.
Fault cause analysis and maintenance
1. The microscope is cloudy and unclear
Main reason: Unclean or moldy lenses.
Exclusion method: When there is dust or dirt on the lens, use a brush or feather to remove it, and then use lens paper or a degreasing cotton dipped in a small amount of anhydrous alcohol to carefully wipe along the circular trajectory, but do not let the wiping liquid flow away.
2. The edge of the indentation cannot be clearly seen inside the mirror
Main reason: Some lenses are loose.
Exclusion method: Re tighten the loose parts of the lens.
3. The scale value of the reading microscope does not coincide with the scale of the standard ruler
Main reasons: Loose objective lens or missing washer at the connection between objective lens and barrel, resulting in changes in focal length.
Exclusion method: Tighten the objective lens. If the washer is missing, its thickness should be repeatedly adjusted and a suitable washer should be installed until the position with the smallest scale error is reached.
4. The scale value of the reading microscope is larger than that of the standard ruler
Main reason: The tube has grown, possibly due to loose tube joints.
Exclusion method: Re tighten the tube joint.
The reading microscope should be kept clean regularly. If not used for a long time, it can be placed in a drying oven to prevent mold growth. Handle with care during use to avoid damage to the microscope, which may affect measurement accuracy and lifespan.
