Microscope Precautions
When moving the microscope, be sure to hold the mirror arm with one hand and support the base with the other hand. The microscope cannot be tilted to prevent the eyepieces from slipping out of the upper end of the tube. Take it easy.
The optical part of the microscope can only be wiped with special test lens paper, and other items are not allowed to wipe at random, let alone touch the lens with fingers, so as not to stain the lens with sweat.
When it is necessary to replace the specimen piece, turn the objective lens away from the stage before removing or placing the specimen piece.
Keep the microscope clean and avoid contamination by dust, water and chemical reagents.
When converting the objective lens, do not move the objective lens, but turn the converter.
Do not turn the coarse focus screw randomly. When using the fine focus screw, the force should be light, the rotation should be slow, and do not turn it hard when it cannot be turned.
Do not arbitrarily disassemble the parts on the microscope, and it is strictly forbidden to disassemble the objective lens at will, so as not to damage the converter screw, or loosen the screw to make the low-to-high magnification objective lens shift out of focus and destroy the optical axis coincidence.
When using a high-magnification objective lens, do not adjust the focal length with the coarse quasi-focus screw, so as not to move too far apart and damage the objective lens and glass slide.
Keep the microscope dry.
After the microscope is used, it must be restored. The specific steps are: first turn the converter to make the objective lens leave the light hole, then remove the specimen, lower the stage, lower the condenser, close the aperture, and return the slide mover. Adjust the brightness of the electric light source of the microscope to the darkest, then turn off the power, cover with silk cloth and outer cover, and finally place the microscope in the center of the table.
