Detect the voltage of other hidden power connectors or sockets, whose AC voltage is generally hidden inside the connector itself. Under the "Hi" setting, VoltAlert? Can detect whether bare wires with a voltage as low as 4V are live. This feature allows technicians to quickly determine whether the panel, control cabinet, or equipment has been reliably grounded. If AC voltage is detected, troubleshooting personnel can then use Auto-V/LoZ to determine whether the detected voltage is a stray voltage or a hard voltage.
