Notes on using the clamp meter:
1. Since the clamp ammeter needs to contact the circuit under test, it is necessary to check whether the insulation performance of the meter is good before measurement. That is, the casing is not damaged, and the handle should be clean and dry.
2. When measuring, you should wear insulating gloves or clean wire gloves.
3. When measuring, pay attention to keeping a safe distance between each part of the body and the charged body (the safe distance of the low-voltage system is 0.1-0.3 m).
4. The clamp ammeter cannot measure the current of the bare conductor.
5. Select the clamp-type ammeter strictly according to the voltage level: the clamp-type ammeter with low voltage level can only measure the current in the low-voltage system, but cannot measure the current in the high-voltage system.
6. It is strictly forbidden to switch the gear of the clamp ammeter during the measurement; if it is necessary to change the gear, the wire under test should be withdrawn from the jaw before changing the gear.
