Only a multimeter can judge the neutral line and live line

When judging the zero live wire, you can use an electric pen or a digital multimeter. The following is the specific detection method, let's take a look.

Disconnect the zero wire that enters the meter and hide it, and then connect it to the self-built ground wire. In the past, most of them were mechanical meters with voltage coils and current coils. After the zero break, only the current coil works, the voltage coil does not work, and the electricity cannot be measured. It resumes every time it is time for meter reading.

If you have a digital multimeter in your hand, you can use this method, and the black test pen of the multimeter is directly fixed on the ground.

Measure the red and blue wires respectively. If the voltage of the red wire to the place is much higher than the blue wire, the red wire is the live wire.

For the neutral line with electricity, considering that the three-phase four-wire system is not completely balanced, there is a drift of the neutral point in the actual application process, so the neutral line will be charged. Generally, the live wire has a voltage of about 180 volts to ground.
