Operating Instructions OF PH328 Digital Backlight Soil Tester 3in1 PH/ Moisture/ Temperature Multifunction Portable Soil PH Test Probe Temp Humidity Meter

1. Install 2* 1.5VAAA battery into the battery compartment and close the battery cover, then press the power button to switch on the instrument, the instrument will display a value of 7.00.

2. Clean the surface of the probe before each measurement. If the soil to be measured is too dry, sprinkle some water on it and wait for half an hour before measuring.

3. Insert the metal rod of the instrument vertically downward into the soil for about 150mm, allowing the wet soil to contact with the metal surface of the probe loosely, never pressing it too hard. The instrument will display the soil PH value. For accurate measurement, wait until the value become stable before taking a reading, and take several area measurements to obtain an average. Press MODE button to switch between displaying soil moisture, temperature and PH. It will display “HI” when the measured PH value is greater than 8.5 and “LO” when the measured value is less than 2.0
