Operating principle guidance for dual color fixed thermometer

Operating principle guide for dual color fixed thermometer: Dual color infrared thermometer is a type of infrared thermometer. It can also be called a fiber optic dual color infrared thermometer, which measures the infrared radiation brightness emitted by an object in two different spectral ranges and infers the temperature of the object based on the ratio of these two radiation brightness. It is called a dual color thermometer. In fact, dual color thermometers do not have the meaning of brightness and color, and their principles are different from those of brightness thermometers (optical pyrometers). The meaning of "color" here should be infrared wavelength or spectrum, which is "dual infrared spectral thermometer"

The dual color online thermometer is an effective tool for detecting and diagnosing electronic equipment faults. There are various types of fixed infrared thermometers, and different series play an important role in their respective industries. The main performance indicators of a fixed infrared thermometer include spectral response, response time, repeatability, and emissivity. Fixed infrared thermometers are used in glass and ceramic industries, paper and packaging industries, various kiln temperature measurement applications, and chemical industries to measure the temperature of instruments and meters, thereby detecting the operating status of instruments and ensuring their normal operation.

Operating principle guidance for dual color fixed thermometer:

The dual color infrared thermometer consists of an optical system, a color separation or filter, an infrared detector, a signal processor, and a display output part. A dual color thermometer measures the amplitude brightness emitted by an object in two different spectral ranges, and converts the ratio of these two radiances into the temperature of the object. Therefore, in principle, it is fundamentally different from a single color thermometer. The key to a dual color thermometer is the selection of the two bands. The selection principle is: the signal ratio of the two bands is sensitive to temperature changes. When there is a small change in temperature, the ratio of the signals within the two bands is still large, which will give the instrument a greater temperature resolution.

Advantages of Online Temperature Measurement Infrared Thermometers in the Steel Industry

The steel industry uses thermometers because products are in motion and the temperature is very high. Ordinary steel industry applications are where the temperature is a continuous state where molten steel begins to transform into blocks. Reheating steel at the same temperature is the key to preventing its deformation, and infrared thermometers are used to measure the internal temperature of the regenerator. In high-temperature rotary rolling machines, infrared thermometers are used to confirm that the temperature of the product is within the rotational limit. In the cooling mill, infrared thermometers monitor the temperature of steel during the cooling process.

Operating principle guidance for dual color fixed thermometer: In the glass industry, infrared thermometer needs to be heated to a very high temperature. Infrared thermometers are used to monitor the temperature in the furnace. A handheld sensor detects high temperature points by measuring the outside. Measure the temperature of melted glass to determine the appropriate furnace temperature. In flat glass products, sensors need to detect temperature at each processing stage. Incorrect or rapid temperature changes can cause uneven expansion or contraction. For bottle and container products, the melted glass will flow to the front furnace maintained at the same temperature. Infrared thermometers are used to detect the temperature of the glass in the front furnace. So it should be in an appropriate state at the exit. In fiberglass products, infrared sensors are used to detect the temperature of the glass in the processing furnace. Another use of infrared sensors in the glass industry is in the process of windshield products.
