Operation guide of Digital Non-contact Pyrometer Color LCD 1. When use this IR probe to measure the object, you should move it face to measure object and then press the button, you must bear in mind of the measured distance between the object and the probe, also to help you point the object, this unit built-in a laser pointer. Please move the laser pointing dot to your measure object.
2. Distance to Spot ratio (D:S) As the distance from the object increased, the spot size of the object area become larger. (please refer to below figure)
3. Field of view: Be sure the measure object must be larger than the spot size, The smaller the target the closer measure distance. When accuracy is the critical make sure the target is at least twice as large as the spot size. Recommended best measure distance is 20cm (assume the detection object size is 10cm X 10cm)
4.Emissivity: The default emissivity is 0.95 (can't be adjusted)
5. Open the battery door, place two AAA size new battery as figure 1 shown with correct polarity, close the battery door. Depress the measure button to turn on the unit, LCD screen shown all icons as figure 2 shown. The measured value hold for 20 seconds
