Operation of the digital display electrical test pen
1. Immediate measurement method
Immediate measurement method refers to the measurement method of directly contacting the camera of the measuring pen with the object being measured to distinguish whether it is charged or not.
When applying the immediate measurement method, touch the metal material camera of the measuring pen to the object being measured, and hold down the Direct function button with your hand;
If the object being measured is charged, the display light on the measuring pen will turn on, and the display will show information about the measured voltage value.
A typical measuring pen can display information at 12v, 36v, 55v, 110v, and 220v. In general, the final displayed information on the monitor is the measured voltage value.

2. Magnetic induction measurement method
Magnetic induction measurement method refers to the measurement method of using voltage magnetic induction to distinguish whether the measured object is charged by placing the camera of the measuring pen close to but not touching the measured object.
If the power transmission line is live, the display of the measuring pen will show the marking of the information voltage;
If the power transmission line is disconnected in the middle and the display light goes out, the voltage indication mark fades, indicating that there is a disconnection at the location.
Magnetic induction measurement method can locate the disconnected part of insulated wires and also distinguish between live and neutral wires of insulated wires.
Electricity has provided us with convenience in our daily lives, but it also carries risks. Therefore, it is recommended to leave any issues related to electricity to technical professionals for resolution, and not to show off.
