2. Determine the location of the testing site
Determine the site situation, including the gas that may leak and the gas we need to detect, before using a gas detector to enter the area. Depending on the type of gas, we will take the appropriate precautions in advance; if it is a toxic gas, we will take additional precautions. good safety precautions, such as gas masks and air respirators
3. Start detection
We enter the detection area, identify the gas to be found there, and then position the portable gas detector's probe in the test environment. The value shown by the concentration increases when the gas under test leaks. The alarm indicator light turns on and an alarm sound is played simultaneously when the value is set. The value shown on the gas detector concentration display screen rises as the probe approaches the leak source, and the reading is recorded.
4. the inspection is completed
After the various detections in the environment are completed, we need to transmit the detection data to facilitate later research and management. Some gas detectors can directly transmit the detection data to computers and other electronic products through Bluetooth and wireless data transmission. Just turn off the gas detector after transmission.
5. Charging
When the gas detector is low in power, we cannot use the gas detector for detection, and the gas detector will send out a low-battery alarm signal. This is when we turn off the power and use the charger to charge the battery. Each charge is about 10-14 hours !You can continue to use it after charging, but some 2-year maintenance-free gas detectors, such as Dräger PAC6000 gas detectors or Maxian Tianying maintenance-free gas detectors, etc., do not need to be replaced during the 2-year service period Battery.
6. Maintenance and Calibration
After the gas detector is used, we should clean and maintain the gas detector regularly. We should calibrate the gas detector after half a year or one year. The purpose of calibration is to make the gas detector have no detection error, so it is necessary to regularly detect the gas. The instrument is calibrated.
