Oscilloscope Probe Positive and Negative Distinction

 

Oscilloscope probe positive and negative terminal differentiation is an important electronic technique and the basis of oscilloscope operation. The positive and negative terminals of an oscilloscope probe define the values of the potentials in the probe circuit, as well as their relationships and dependencies. The positive terminal of an oscilloscope probe is the interface that brings current into the circuit, while the negative terminal is the interface that defines the current flow out of the internal circuit.
