Pay attention to these three main points to extend the motor life of the waterproof pen-type pH meter
The first is the test sample solution
For example, in the textile industry, the same electrode is in contact with different test solutions. Some test solutions are single and non-polluting. For example, in general textiles, some test solutions have strong acid and alkali or fluffy and oily solutions. It is easy to shorten the service life of the pH electrode. For example, the pH meter for normal testing can be used for one year, but the pH meter for frequent testing of strong acids and alkalis may not work for half a year. The summary is to test the same solution with a waterproof pen-type pH meter as much as possible.
The second point is to use time
Long-term non-use of the waterproof pen-type pH meter or high frequency of use will affect the life of the electrode. For example, some laboratories use it once a day, and sometimes do not use it once a few days, and some use it non-stop every day. Then the pH meters that are used frequently and infrequently used every day may have a "short lifespan". Reasonable use of pH electrodes that are "not overworked and not idle" is the way to prolong life.
The third is whether you have chosen the wrong model of the waterproof pen-type pH meter
If the electrode is found to be inaccurate within a few days of use, it may be that the electrode model is selected incorrectly or the user uses it brutally. Even if the frequency of use is very low, the supplier is not responsible for the return or replacement of the product in this case.
Another situation is that the electrode of the waterproof pen-type pH meter is broken shortly after use or the test is inaccurate, the data is unstable, and the electrode is often used, the appearance is well maintained, and the daily maintenance is strictly in accordance with the instructions. Then It may be the electrode quality problem. As for some waterproof pen-type pH meter electrodes that claim to be long-life electrodes, there are actually some problems. The general use time of an electrode is half a year to one year, and the time of industrial pH electrodes with poor use conditions may be shorter.
