Pointer multimeter to measure the quality of capacitance
How to judge whether the capacitor is good or bad
When the multimeter is in the resistance gear, make sure that one test lead touches one foot of the capacitor, and then touches the other one with the other one.
Capacitors are good:
1. The needle will rise rapidly and then fall slowly. This is the charging and discharging process of the capacitor, indicating that the capacitor is good.
2. There is no change. After the test leads are exchanged, the above phenomenon occurs, which means that the capacitor is also good.
Capacitors are bad:
There is no charge and discharge in the above two operations, or the needle does not fall after rising, or falls quickly, indicating that the capacitor is broken.
