Potential Issues You Must Be Aware of When Using a 4-in-1 Gas Detector!

Sensor related issues

1. Sensor malfunction: It may be due to physical damage, water vapor intrusion, interference from silicone compounds, etc., causing the four in one gas detector to have no response to gas or inaccurate readings.

2. Sensor expiration or aging: Sensors have a certain service life, and measurement errors may occur after expiration or long-term use, requiring regular replacement.

3. Sensor drift: After long-term use, the zero point or sensitivity of the four in one gas detector changes, causing the reading to deviate from the actual value and requiring recalibration.

 Power issue

1. Low battery level: Long term non use of the four in one gas detector or depletion of battery may result in the inability to turn on the device, and it needs to be charged in a timely manner.

2. Battery aging or damage: The battery performance has decreased and cannot supply power normally. A new battery needs to be replaced.

3. Charging issue: The charger specifications are incorrect or the charger itself is malfunctioning, resulting in the inability to charge properly.

Calibration and Reading Issues

1. Not calibrated regularly: The four in one gas detector has not been calibrated for a long time, resulting in inaccurate readings. It is necessary to use standard gas for calibration regularly.

2. Calibration operation error: The four in one gas detector was calibrated in non clean air or using the wrong calibration gas, resulting in reading deviation. It needs to be recalibrated correctly.

3. Numerical fluctuations or instability: This may be due to the presence of interfering gases in the on-site environment or improper calibration. It is necessary to confirm whether the environment is clean and recalibrate.

Environmental impact and mechanical parts issues

1. High temperature, high humidity, or low temperature environments: Extreme temperatures may affect instrument performance and should be avoided in environments beyond the operating temperature range.

2. Electromagnetic interference: Strong electromagnetic fields may interfere with the normal operation of the four in one gas detector, and it is necessary to stay away from electromagnetic interference sources.

3. Air inlet blockage: Dust and debris block the air inlet, causing gas to not enter the sensor of the four in one gas detector normally. Regular cleaning is required.

4. Pump malfunction (if any): Sampling pump malfunction causing poor gas sampling, requiring inspection or replacement of the pump.
