The precautions for replacing the combustible gas detector probe are as follows:
1. Cut off the power supply: Before opening the box cover, be sure to use a portable flammable gas detector to detect the surrounding gas to confirm that there is no flammable gas in the environment. Because when the box cover is opened and connected to the power supply, it may become a source of ignition of flammable gases in the detonation environment, resulting in damage or injury or death.
2. Unscrew and remove the rear cover of the detector;
3. Loosen the screw on the terminal, and remove the probe wire from the terminal. Identify the position of each wire according to the color to ensure that the new probe is connected correctly;
4. Unscrew and remove the old probe;
5. Take a new probe: Make sure that the part number of the new probe is the same as that of the old probe.
6. Insert the wire of the new probe into the detector box, tighten the fixing screw, and connect the wire to the corresponding terminal according to the color;
7. After checking and confirming that the probe is replaced correctly, turn on the power (be sure to confirm that there is no flammable gas around);
