Precautions for the use of GVDA digital multimeter

a. If it is impossible to pre-estimate the magnitude of the measured voltage or current, you should first dial to the highest range to measure once, and then gradually reduce the range to an appropriate position depending on the situation. After the measurement is completed, turn the range switch to the highest voltage block and turn off the power.

b. When the scale is full, the meter only displays the number "1" in the highest digit, and the other digits disappear. At this time, a higher range should be selected.

c. When measuring voltage, the digital multimeter should be connected in parallel with the circuit under test. When measuring the current, it should be connected in series with the circuit under test, and it is not necessary to consider the positive and negative polarities when measuring the direct current.

d. When the AC voltage is used to measure the DC voltage by mistake, or the DC voltage is used to measure the AC voltage by mistake, the display screen will display "000", or the number on the low position will jump.

e. It is forbidden to change the range when measuring high voltage (above 220V) or high current (above 0.5A) to prevent arcing and burning of switch contacts.
