Precautions for the use of portable thermometers
When measuring the temperature of a target with a portable thermometer, it is first necessary to measure the infrared radiation of the target within its band range, and then the temperature of the measured target is calculated by the thermometer. A monochromatic pyrometer is proportional to the amount of radiation within a band; a two-color pyrometer is proportional to the ratio of the amount of radiation in the two bands.
What should be paid attention to when using the portable thermometer:
Locate the hot spot. To find the hot spot, the instrument aims at the target, and then scans up and down on the target until the hot spot is determined.
Temperature measurements cannot be made through glass, which has very specific reflective and transmissive properties that do not allow accurate infrared temperature readings. But the temperature can be measured through the infrared window. Portable thermometers are not intended for use on shiny or polished metal surfaces (stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).
Only surface temperature is measured, portable thermometers cannot measure internal temperature.
Be aware of ambient conditions: steam, dust, smoke, etc. It blocks the optical system of the instrument and affects accurate temperature measurement.
Ambient temperature, if the portable thermometer is suddenly exposed to an ambient temperature difference of 20°C or higher, allow the instrument to adjust to the new ambient temperature within 20 minutes.
1. To avoid damaging the portable thermometer, please use compressed air to remove large particles and dust first, then wipe with a piece of cloth.
2. Gently use slightly dampened non-corrosive solution marked for cleaning the lens or a mild diluted soap solution (solution or mild diluted soap solution (do not use soluble soft cotton cloth to wipe the lens (do not immerse the cloth in the liquid) ) wipe the lens with a soft cotton cloth (do not soak the cloth in the liquid.) Gently wipe the display with a clean computer monitor cleaning cloth.
3. Gently wipe the display screen with a clean computer monitor cleaning cloth.
4. Use a clean slightly damp cloth to gently wipe the body of the thermometer. If necessary, dampen the cloth with a solution of water and a little mild soap.
5. After using the portable thermometer, please put the lens cap on the portable thermometer as soon as possible, and put it in the carrying case for storage.
