Procedure for Cleaning Microscope Lens
First determine whether you really need to clean the CCD, if there is not a lot of dust, then wait. Removing stains is a troublesome thing, and the stains are easy to wipe more and more, so if it does not affect the imaging (generally it is easier to see when the aperture is small, and it will disappear when the aperture is increased), please try not to clean it. Cleaning items are:
1. High-purity ethanol-used to wipe the surface of the lens or color filter (or use a mixture of ether and absolute alcohol)
2. Blowing ball - used to remove dust and foreign matter (inferior blowing balls will have particles falling off inside after the rubber ages, and will blow out with the airflow)
3. Long fiber lens paper - before wiping the lens with lens paper, be sure to clean the whole hand with soap, and remember not to leave oil stains, especially the oil naturally secreted by the human body.
4. Fir stick or pine stick - wrap lens paper on it to wipe the objective lens. Breathing or blowing dust on the lens with your mouth will bring saliva to the lens and corrode the lens, and dry wiping the lens with lens tissue or buckskin will easily scratch the lens.
Cleaning steps:
1 Use a blower to blow off the dust on the lens.
2 Check the effect in the preview window.
3 If there is any attachment that cannot be blown off, use the "lens paper brush" to gently brush it off. That is, after the lens paper is unsealed, take a piece of paper and roll it into a small roll and tear it off from the middle, use the "brush" naturally formed on the section to brush off the dust on the lens, and the rest of the lens paper should be sealed to prevent dust from falling.
4 Check the effect in the preview window.
5 If there are still stains, you can use the "lens paper stick" to wipe it lightly, and then blow it with a blower.
6 Check the effect in the preview window.
7 If there are still stains, use a lens paper stick dipped in cleaning fluid to wipe it lightly, let it dry a bit, wipe the mirror surface in a spiral shape from the center, do not go back and use it again, and then blow it with a blower.
8 Check the effect in the preview window.
9 Repeat until you are satisfied.
