Proper Use of Portable Gas Detectors

Although many people can use the gas detector's intelligent operation, which is similar to that of a mobile phone, the instrument's primary purpose is to detect qualified data, and the rigorous nature of the inspection work prevents us from using it until we have mastered its use, For this type of composite gas detector, notably the four-in-one gas detector, the instrument's safety protection is crucial. The accuracy of the detector's data directly affects the public's health and safety. The editor of Instrument Equipment Network will then demonstrate how to get started right away.

1. A safety check must be done before entering the working area. You can enter the excavation working face inspection after taking the necessary safety precautions, such as donning masks, gas masks, etc. (see the actual scenario of use), and making sure the test engineer is safe.

The excavation face should be removed right away when the four-in-one gas detection instrument alerts, and the recorded inspection statistics should be stored. Two measurements and inspections should be done after roughly 30 minutes of forced natural ventilation.

The inspection team is fully accountable for the accuracy of the inspection statistics and must record the inspection findings of the workplace on the confirmation form.

2. After the inspection, make sure the rotating caution signs are in compliance with the rules.

Workers are not permitted to enter the work site until they have seen the environmental protection, and the warning sign should be hung in a dependable area at the entrance of the work site. Other workers are also not permitted to move the warning sign.

To ensure the appropriate implementation of this requirement, the on-duty production manager shall oversee and manage the work of the on-duty inspection personnel.

3. Position the camera of the portable oxygen detector in the testing environment. The scale value of the concentration value display information will rise as the measured gas leaks. The alarm display light will turn on and a ticking sound will be audible when the alarm preset value is exceeded.

The reading value is recorded as the oxygen detector's concentration value display increases in size as the camera moves closer to the leak's source.

4. If the handheld oxygen detector's battery capacity is low, the rechargeable battery is almost out of juice. As soon as possible, shut down the device, then charge the battery with the charging head. The battery charges in 10 to 14 hours each time.

5. Battery charging method: Insert the switching power supply charging head into the AC220V power plug, then insert the charging plug into the battery charging jack of the detector, and then turn on the main power switch of the four-in-one oxygen detector to charge the detector battery. Charging, the environmental protection work light is on, the rechargeable battery light is flickering, and the display shows the message '----', after the battery is charged, turn off the main power switch, and pull out the charging head
