1. Automatic recovery protection. Some watch circuitry, when an overload is detected, protects the watch until the condition no longer exists. After the overload is removed, the DMM automatically returns to normal operation. Usually used to protect the resistive function from voltage overload.

2. There is no automatic recovery function. Some meters will protect the meter after detecting overload, but will not automatically recover until the user takes corresponding measures, such as replacing the resistance, to resume use.

Digital meter advantage

1. Fuse current input protection

2. Use a high-energy fuse (600 volts or higher)

3. High voltage protection in resistive mode (500V or higher)

4. Voltage transient protection (6000 volts or higher)

5. Safely designed test leads, safety handles, etc.

6. Independent safety certification

Safety Checklist

1. Use a table that meets the requirements of the field application

2. Use a meter with a current input fuse, and check the fuse before measuring the current

3. Check the test leads for physical damage before measurement

4. Use a meter to check the continuity of the test leads

5. Only use safety handles and insulated test leads

6. Use a watch with a concave socket

7. Select the appropriate function and range when measuring

8. Confirm the operation of the table is good

9. Follow the Product Safety Manual

10. First disconnect the red test lead

11. Don’t work alone

12. Use the watch with overload protection in the electrical barrier

13. When measuring the current without a current clamp, cut off the power supply of the circuit before connecting to the circuit.

14. In the case of high voltage and high current, pay attention to the use of appropriate equipment, such as high voltage probes, current clamps
