Quickly understand the three standard solutions commonly used in pH meter calibration
The standard buffer solution can be calibrated with a commercially available pH meter, generally a set of three, the pH is 4.0, 7.0 and 10.0 respectively
Generally, 4.0 can be prepared with potassium hydrogen phthalate system
7.0 is prepared with potassium dihydrogen phosphate-disodium hydrogen phosphate system
10.0 is formulated with sodium carbonate-sodium bicarbonate system
The concentration can be determined according to the required buffer capacity
