Reasonable setting of soldering iron temperature:

 

a): Repair lead-free SMD components
1) To repair ordinary components such as 0603, 0805, 3216 components, the range of iron temperature: 350℃±50℃.
2) To repair IC, the temperature range of soldering iron is 350℃±50℃:
3) For repairing components containing metal materials or materials with large contact area and fast heat dissipation, the temperature range of electric soldering iron: 380°C±50°C.
b): Maintenance of lead-free THD components
1) Repair ordinary components such as 1/4W.1/2W resistors, small triodes, capacitors with low voltage in small capacity, ICs, diodes and other small components. The range of iron temperature: 340°C±50°C.
2) Repair components containing metal materials such as radiators, electrolytic capacitors with high internal pressure and large capacity, high-voltage diodes, fire cows and other large materials. The temperature range of the soldering iron: 380°C±50°C.
3) Repair the connecting wire with plastic skin, the temperature range of soldering iron: 350±50℃
The power of the soldering iron has a lot to do with the temperature of the soldering iron, but high power does not necessarily mean high temperature. A low-power soldering iron does not necessarily have a low temperature, but a high-power soldering iron must have a lot of heat, and the speed of returning to temperature is also very fast, so the temperature selection of the soldering iron should be consistent with the soldering product.
