Repair and maintenance of gas detectors
Maintenance and upkeep of gas detectors
A physical detector is an instrument tool for detecting gas leakage concentration, which includes portable gas detectors, handheld gas detectors, fixed gas detectors, online gas detectors, etc. Mainly using gas sensors to detect the types of gases present in the environment, gas sensors are sensors used to detect the composition and content of gases.
It is generally believed that the definition of gas sensors is based on the classification of detection targets, which means that any sensor used to detect gas composition and concentration is called a gas sensor, regardless of whether it uses physical or chemical methods. For example, sensors that detect gas flow are not considered gas sensors, but thermal conductivity gas analyzers are important gas sensors, although they sometimes use generally consistent detection principles.
Maintenance and upkeep
1. Check the gas flow rate, usually 30/h, as excessive or insufficient flow rate can have a significant impact on the analyzer results
2. Replace filter paper: Stop the air pump and drain the filter tank
3. Check for any air leaks in the pneumatic system. Whether the diaphragm of the sobbing pump is damaged, whether the sealing ring of the sampling probe is broken, whether the four-way valve and condensate are damaged, etc
4. Cleaning of sampling probe, unblocking of sampling hole pipeline
5. Check if the condenser is working properly, usually adjust the temperature within the range of 3 degrees Celsius
6. Check the measuring room for dirt and clean it promptly.
The gas detector can detect various gases such as hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, oxygen, sulfur dioxide, phosphine, ammonia, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen cyanide, chlorine gas, chlorine dioxide, ozone, and combustible gases. It is widely used in on-site detection of various places such as petrochemicals, coal, metallurgy, chemical industry, municipal gas, environmental monitoring, etc. Can meet the measurement needs of special occasions; It can detect gas concentration or leakage in tunnels, pipelines, tanks, enclosed spaces, etc.
