Selection of infrared thermometer selection guide
Non-contact infrared temperature measurement products, including portable, on-line and scanning three series, with a variety of options and the corresponding computer software, each series has a variety of models and specifications. In different specifications of the various models of thermometer, the correct choice of infrared thermometer model is very important to the user. Here only portable infrared thermometer selection of some thought steps for the buyer's reference.
Selection of infrared thermometer can be divided into three aspects:
Determine the temperature range.
Each type of thermometer has its own specific temperature range. Therefore, the user to use the temperature range must be considered accurately and thoroughly, neither too narrow, nor too wide.
Determine the optical resolution (distance and sensitivity).
Optical resolution is determined by the ratio of D and S, is the thermometer to the target between the distance D and the measurement of spot diameter S ratio. If you want to measure long distances and small targets, you should choose a pyrometer with high optical resolution. The higher the optical resolution, i.e. the larger the D:S ratio, the higher the cost of the pyrometer.
Measurement in the bright background
If the target to be measured has a strong background light (sunlight or strong lamp). The accuracy of the measurement will be affected, then the object should be shielded from direct light to eliminate the background light interference.
Operation is simple and easy to use:
Portable infrared thermometer should be intuitive, simple to operate, easy to use for personnel, is a set of temperature measurement and display output as one of the small, lightweight, carried by the person to measure the temperature of the instrument, in the display panel can display the temperature and output of a variety of temperature information, some of which can be operated remotely or through a computer software programme.
