Several Common Problems and Solutions of Microscope
1. Microscope light bulb is not bright
1) Check whether the power cord is loose and whether the socket is normal.
2) Check whether the fuse is blown (the fuse is mostly at the power interface of the fuselage), and if it is blown, replace the fuse.
3) Replace the spare bulb, and be careful not to touch the bulb with your fingers during the replacement process.
2. The microscope cannot focus and image
1) Check whether the focus limit mechanism is not adjusted properly and the working distance is not enough.
2) Check whether the sample is placed upside down. If the cover glass is facing down, the working distance is not enough under high magnification.
3. The image is clear at low magnification, but blurred at high magnification
1) Higher magnifications have higher requirements for sample thickness and flatness.
2) For biological 100x mirrors, pay attention to whether there is any oil dripping and whether the objective lens is clean.
3) When switching to a high-magnification lens, the aperture diaphragm on the condenser is correspondingly enlarged.
4. The field of view appears bright and uneven
Check whether the optical path of the microscope is aligned before use.
5. The light bulb is on, but the eyepiece field of view is completely black
1) Check whether the objective lens is turned into the optical path, whether the field diaphragm and aperture diaphragm are adjusted too small, and whether the optical path is centered.
2) Check whether the trinocular eyepiece and the video switching lever are in the video position.
6. The brightness of the field of view is dim
1) Whether the field diaphragm and aperture diaphragm are adjusted too small.
2) Whether the optical path is properly adjusted (condenser, aperture, filament).
3) Whether polarizing and phase difference components are used.
