Several features of gas detectors
In order to enhance safety, various industries are currently purchasing gas detectors. However, the general consumer is not very familiar with the gas detection industry and does not know how to choose a detector that is suitable for their own situation. Below, we will introduce several characteristics of gas detectors that cannot be ignored:
1. Stability
Stability is a necessary and our primary consideration. What are the values of zero offset and full amplitude offset, the smaller the better.
2. Convenience
Convenience is now a crucial factor for us to work outside, and stability is also an essential factor. It is lightweight, small in size, easy and comfortable to wear, and easy to maintain.
3. Applicability
Technicians identify and evaluate hazardous gases at the site of confined space operations to determine whether the sensors of the selected detectors meet the usage requirements.
4. Reliability
The longer the lifespan of a sensor, the better. Generally speaking, the minimum lifespan of a sensor is 2 years, while that of a combustible gas sensor is 2-5 years. The longer the average error time, the better the accuracy and precision, and the smaller the error value, the better.
5. Protection requirements
Whether the explosion-proof safety level is applicable to the workplace, whether the product safety has been certified, and whether there is explosion-proof certification or measurement certificate.
6. Recognizability
Whether the display area is large enough, whether the font is clear, whether the alarm sound is loud enough, and whether the alarm flashing light can be recognized from various angles.
