Solutions to common malfunctions of noise meters
Nowadays, no matter in life or work, there is inevitably a lot of noise. The generation of noise brings impact on our life and work. Noise meters are mainly used for measuring environmental noise, noise engineering, quality control and health prevention.
Noise meters generally consist of a condenser microphone, a preamplifier, an attenuator, an amplifier, a frequency meter network, and an RMS indicator head. Common faults of noise meters are generally the following problems:
1, the display does not show
(1) The internal battery connection line is disconnected or the battery contact is not good: weld the connection line, replace the battery contact piece.
(2) Battery damage: replace the battery.
2,Measurement readings are obviously low or calibrated less than 94.0dB.
(1) microphone sensitivity is too low or damaged: replace the microphone and recalibrate.
(2) Preamplifier contact with the microphone contact is not good: cleaning contact.
(3) The plug of preamplifier is not in good contact with the socket of the host: replace the plug and socket.
3,Low sound level measurement when reading high , preamplifier ground contact is bad: tighten the outer sleeve.
